What sizes and colors are available?

We have played with materials, sizes, colors, and other options throughout the years. We found one size and one color were desired above all others and that  black bag is our single Dog-Go Bag offering.

So, back in the day, we offered three sizes, including a very small bag. However, what we found is no matter how small your dog,  items such as cellphone, car keys, hand sanitizer, waste bags, etc. don't change size and none of that fit into the small bag. If simply carrying poop was the desire, the bag worked, but missed the mark for the convenience factor.

Because small dogs usually have small leashes, in this situation we'd highly recommend the cross-body strap.

Really? No other color or size?

Fine, one other option! We can custom-make a Dog-Go Bag XL. This bag is larger and has extra exterior pockets. It is designed with professional dog walker's or owners of multiple large dogs in mind. Email us for more info.

Have anything else to sell us?

The true purpose of Dog-Go Bag is providing a leash-carried bag (How It All Began story), but we have had customers request a cross-body strap from which to hang their bag. To each their own, so we make it available.

We are always looking at other options and partnerships, so do check back. 

I've seen several "dog go bags" intended for use as a dog's suitcase or  bugging out in an emergency. Is this one of those bags?

Absolutely not. It's for the dog on the go, i.e. one that goes for leash walks or hikes, and for transporting  that dog's waste. While you can stock it with some supplies like a water bottle and dog snacks and use it for a short outing, it's not intended as a comprehensive dog relocation or survival kit.

Any input on which waste bags are best?

Any dog owner that cleans up after their dog, regardless what bags used, is applauded! 

All bags work with Dog-Go Bag. 

However, our personal preference is a flushable bag--yes there is such a thing, and they're also biodegradable! 

Because our dogs generate SO much landfill waste, the very least we can suggest is to use biodegradable bags.

Why don't you go on Shark Tank?

Several years ago, I was  approached at an event and invited to reach out to Shark Tank producers. I had just received my patent and had total sales of something like five units! Twice  after that event, I was contacted by a former Shark's office. Sales were increasing, but after brief discussions, we mutually agreed we were not ready to "go big" together.

 So, it's not that we haven't had a chance, but even now...

we were not/are not ready! As the sharks would say, "this is a hobby and not a business".

I do agree that's how it was. Anytime a life event occurred, the first thing to be tabled was my business. 

No longer is that the case! 

It is time to get Dog-go Bag out into the world, to run with the big dogs, to get the scoop on the competition, to pick it up...

Our general policy regarding any quality concerns, occurring within 30 days  of purchase, will be resolved by sending a replacement bag. We will also send a prepaid envelope and ask for the defective bag back so we can ascertain what went wrong in the process.

Unfortunately, because we've seen how Dog-Go Bags can be treated--pulled down the street, overloaded, not properly attached, chewed upon, washed and machine dried (no, no, no!)--we cannot warranty "defects" that are caused from misuse. 

However, we have a wonderful trade-up policy! If your Dog-Go Bag needs replacing, contact us to let us know. We will provide you a 20% discount off the replacement bag. We will also provide a prepaid return envelope and ask for the old bag back. Having a chance to study a bag's strengths and weaknesses allows us to continue working toward a zero return goal!

We use heavy weight coated nylon for the shell, and a lighter weight nylon for the interior lining .  There is a lightweight foam sandwiched between the two layers of nylon. The foam adds structure, but also provides some odor absorbency as well. While

The foam adds structure, but also provides some odor absorbency as well. While Dog-Go Bag is not 100% water-proof, it is water resistant and can withstand weather.

Heavy-duty zipper, thread, Velcro, and industrial glue keep all the components together.

Dog-Go Bags can become soiled or collect materials like dog hair (how??) or grass in the inner chamber during their use. 

Often times, a damp cloth and gentle cleaner (like hand soap) are all that's needed, but if a deeper cleaning is necessary, please follow the following procedure:

1. Disengage bag from leash
2. Remove all items from bag
3. Unzip bag fully
4. Wash by hand in warm soapy water or toss in the washing machine on gentle, without other items
5. Lay flat to dry
